Game 5 of the NBA Finals took place last night and the Miami Heat beat the Los Angeles Lakers 111 to 108 to force a Game 6 on Sunday Night. This was a tightly contested game from start to finish, the Heat were led by Jimmy Butler had 35 points, 11 Assist, and 12 rebounds notching his 2nd triple double of the series. Butler gave it his all he played 47 out of a possible 48 minutes. The Heat received a huge boost from Duncan Robinson, the 2nd year sharpshooter out of Michigan, dropped 26 points including 7 3’s. Lebron James dropped 40 points including 6 3’s for the Lakers and kept them in the game the whole night.
Game 6 is Sunday night and there a couple things to look out for. If you’re the Miami Heat you must find a way to get Jimmy Butler some rest because with possibly playing 2 more games and asking him to play 47 minutes will not be good in the end. Also keep shooting 3’s this game Duncan Robinson stepped up next game it can be Tyler Herro or Kendrick Nunn. If your Lakers, the health of Anthony Davis is essential. Davis reaggravated an ankle injury in the 1st quarter in game 5 he returned in the game but will likely not be 100 percent on Sunday. Also, the Lakers have to stop fouling 3-point shooters this has been a problem for them this entire NBA Finals.
My prediction for Game 6 is that the Miami Heat will force a game 7. Jimmy Butler will once again lead the team to victory with huge help from Tyler Herro who will go off for 30 points. He is ready to take off on this huge stage just how he did in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals when he dropped 37.
